Our house was built in about 1896. Several people in town are amateur but very talented historians, and send us historical pictures of our house whenever they come across them. Here are a few:

These two pictures are undated, but are thought to be from the mid- to late-1950’s. I find the windmill in the back of the house particularly cool:
When we are finished renovating the house we expect it to more resemble the set of pictures from the 1950’s. We like the stairs in front better than their current side location, and the clean white paint is appealing.
This picture is from circa 1895, and was sent to us from our neighbor, the owner of the Miller House. We aren’t sure if the person on the porch is Judge Parker or not, or who the little girl is:
